Things around us...

In my home, what do I see?
A cozy bed for sleepy me!
A table where we eat and play,
A comfy chair to sit all day.
A door to open, windows wide,
So many things for us inside!

Now to school, a happy place,
See the board in front of my face!
A desk and chair for every friend,
Learning stories, never end.
Books on shelves, so neat and tall,
Pencils, crayons for us all!

At home again, the kitchen bright,
Pots and pans for dinner light.
A fridge so cool, a stove so warm,
Keeping food safe from any harm.
Spoons and forks, a cup for juice,
Things we use, it's such good use!

Back in class, with toys to share,
A globe that shows us everywhere!
Clocks on walls, to tell the time,
Learning numbers, in a rhyme.
Colors, shapes, all around,
Happy learning, all year around!
